Premium B.C. Wine, in a can.

Castoro de Oro Estate Winery is located in B.C.’s famed Golden Mile, one of Canada’s premier grape-growing regions.

The first winery in the South Okanagan to offer wine in a can, Castoro de Oro makes premium, handcrafted wines available in a ready to go package. They came to us with an idea for a label design, wanting to show off their award-winning Merlot, Pinot Duetto Dry Rose and varieties.

What you see is what you get

It’s not everyday we get asked to design an aluminum can to look like a glass of wine. The team at Castoro de Oro had a vision, to show off their wines right on the label. We collaborated on three unique labels, using real photography of the Merlot, Heart of Gold white blend and Pinot Duetto dry rose.

Ready to go

The best thing about wine in a can is it’s ready to take with you anywhere. We worked on a set of custom icons for these cans, illustrating some of the best ways to enjoy wine in a can.

Solution

HAWK worked with Castoro de Oro Estate Winery to develop a unique label for their wine in a can program. Clean, photographic and flexible, these labels are designed to work with any variety of wine. They show off the product unlike any other can on the shelf.
