Opportunity

Village Brewery is one of Calgary's original spots for delicious craft beer. Every year, Village puts out a unique beer made with hops grown in some of Calgary’s community gardens. We got to help them promote their community brew day with some branded creative.

Approach

Creative concept

We worked with the team at Village to refine a creative concept. Inspired by the community gardens across the city, this concept is meant to represent the Gardener as a city project.

Invitations and event promotion

The goal of this project was to make people aware of what the Village Gardener is all about, and to invite them to participate in their community brew day. These invitations were sent out online, calling all gardeners, growers and green thumbs to bring their garden grown hops or carrots to the brewery to be included in the Gardener brew.

Social media assets

We helped tell the story of the Village Gardener through a set of branded social images. Our social efforts were designed to make people more aware of the project, letting them know more about the participating community associations and how to get involved.

Solution

We worked with Village Brewery to develop a set of creative promoting their community-involved ale, Village Gardener. Our team designed a bunch of posters, social images and event images to help tell the story of this collaborative project.
