Opportunity

To address Alberta’s domestic violence epidemic, Sagesse asked us to help them develop a province-wide awareness campaign to bust myths and help Albertan's talk about domestic violence.

Approach

The goal of the campaign is to start conversations.

We designed a digital ad campaign targeting natural supports of people who may be experiencing domestic violence. We paired images of people and concrete facts to increase awareness of the epidemic and make the ads resonate with Albertans. Our copy reflected real scenarios and encouraged people to access the REAL Talk toolkit.

 

Solution

HAWK worked very closely with the Sagesse team to get the message right. We helped translate a bunch of research into easy to understand messages. The copy aimed to help normalize talking about tough topics, ensuring a soft tone to create safe spaces.
